The Silent Crisis of Debanking: Farage's Campaign and the Threat to Liberty

Farage launches campaign to tackle ‘major national scandal’ of de-banking

Move comes as former PM Liz Truss warns current system could put people off going into politics

Nigel Farage said he was ‘beginning to have the impression this is much, much bigger than any of us could have contemplated’. He is also unveiling a new website to help people who have lost their accounts in the “major national scandal” of debanking as former prime minister Liz Truss warns that the current system could put people off going into politics.

In an exclusive interview with The Telegraph, Mr Farage announced the launch of his campaign and the AccountClosed.org site.

The former Ukip leader said he had been “overwhelmed” by members of the public messaging him with their own experiences of being de-banked after his Coutts accounts were closed because of his political views……….

……….The Telegraph has revealed that more than 1,400 British businesses are members of B Corp, a corporate diversity scheme that played a part in Coutts’ thinking about whether to “exit” Mr Farage.

Telegraph 29th July 2023

I have been a member of the Banking Reform Group for over a year, Yes, I was debanked last September for unacceptable political views, as was Aaron Banks in 2018 as reported in the Mail for his pro Brexit support.

I am not sure why my life long support for Constitutional small accountable Government became such an unacceptable and abhorrent view but salami slice by slice it has.

The ‘woke’ for the want of any better word have seized control of much of the high towers of society. The BBC , The Civil Service and now the banking sector.

In taking on Farage they have made a mistake, as Peter Flavel and Alison Rose have found to their cost

‘The head of the private bank Coutts has been pushed out, less than 48 hours after the shock departure of NatWest’s chief executive, Alison Rose, as the storm over the “mishandling” of Nigel Farage’s bank accounts continues.

The Guardian

I have met Nigel Farage only once , I will admit he is ‘not my cup of tea’ , however I freely admit that he is the only recognisable opposition leader in the U.K. , let’s be clear Starmer and Davey are not opposition leaders they are part of the problem that has allowed the ‘woke’ to thrive unimpeded for the last ten to twenty years. Farage has my unequivocal support in this campaign. The Banks are running scared or at least their CEO’s are fearing for their lucrative jobs, pensions and gongs.

Now is the time to strike and strike hard against the ‘woke’ and collectivism in the U.K.

Personally I am disappointed by strong minded successful people saying they agree with every dot and comma of the Libertarian Party manifesto, but want to keep their head down below the parapet for fear of being targeted.

Liz Truss MP, deposed PM, the political nine day Queen, by the woke has gone on record as saying this scandal has a chilling effect on people entering politics.

I am asking for you to show the backbone the British were once renown for and join us in this fight. The Libertarian Party will not deviate from its commitment to Liberty and Personal freedom , but will stand shoulder to shoulder who will end this devious oppression.
