Empowering Individuals

ABOUT US

Campaigning to Minimise the reach of the Government.

Established in 2007, the Libertarian Party takes root in Minarchist principles and classical liberal beliefs.

As a party, we staunchly advocate for individual rights, non-interventionism, laissez-faire capitalism, and the constraint of government size and influence.

We firmly believe that individuals and businesses should be at the helm of their economic decision-making. We assert that state control inevitably tilts towards tyranny. Consequently, we are committed to ensuring you retain more of your hard-earned money by aiming to diminish the tax burden to a minimal level.

We believe how the UK is presently governed is unsustainable, necessitating a significant shift. Our vision sees a written constitution that places you, the individual, as sovereign above Parliament.

We hold that government should be as proximate to you as possible, leading us to endorse the devolution of government to the regions. Our vision foresees the establishment of the Free States of Britain, operating under a federal government model akin to the Swiss system. Our campaign tirelessly works to curb the reach of the Government.

All men by nature are equal in that equal right that every man hath to his natural freedom, without being subjected to the will or authority of any other man; being all equal and independent, no one ought to harm another in his life, health, liberty or possessions.

John Locke
